and has a global focus. It is also non-partisan - any companies
or organisations with an interest in the VSAT industry are
encouraged to join.
- TKTurkish Telecommunications Authority: This agency monitors
technology developments in the telecommunications sector
in cooperation with the universities and manufacturing
establishments. It also provides support for domestic
production and for participation in international activities
relating to telecommunications.
- TUYADTUYAD (The Turkish Association of Satellite/Antenna and
Electronic Communication Business People): Recognized as
the only professional society of its kind that encompasses
private and public sector companies and institutions in Turkey.
TUYAD promotes technical cooperation among its members;
establishes national and international contacts, organizes
educational and technical seminars, workshops, forums,
congresses, fair and symposia, and promotes international
quality standards in Turkey.
- KOSGEBKOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development
Organization): KOSGEB is a public agency associated with the
Ministry of Industry and Commerce, established to enable
Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to rapidly adapt
technological innovations, to increase their competitive
capabilities and prepare SMEs for global competition by
improving their contributions and effectiveness.
